Road Trip to Bicol: Joroan Church

As with most of my travels, we didn’t have any fixed itinerary.  So, when my friend, Flaj, suggested that we pass by Joroan and visit the Joroan Church, on our way back to Naga, we agreed to do it.

According to my research, the Joroan Church is flocked by pilgrims every 3rd Saturday of August to pay homage to Nuestra Senora de Salvacion, the patroness of Albay.

I said a prayer and thanked the Lord for how awesome the trip had been for me.  I felt blessed to have been given the opportunity to tour the Philippines and see the many beautiful places that our country has, including the very blue seas of Albay that we passed by from Joroan to Naga.

So, if you’ll ask me if the side trip was worth it?  Yep, definitely.
